Job Title: Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered NurseJob Description
Monitor patients and chart vital information including vitals, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and heart monitor results. Develop patient care plans and educate patients while setting up exercise machines to support their rehabilitation.
Responsibilities

Educate patients on their rehabilitation process
Set up and manage exercise machines for patient rehabilitation
Essential Skills
Cardiology
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Rehabilitation
Electronic Medical Records (ECW)
Electrocardiogram (EKG) proficiency
Registered Nurse (Missouri)
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or equivalent
Dysrhythmia recognition
Pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease
Cardiovascular/pulmonary assessment
Basic knowledge of exercise physiology and clinical exercise physiology
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Cardiopulmonary assessment
Computer skills
Educational planning and teaching skills
Holistic patient education
Experience and skills with older adults
Minimum of 1-year experience in ICU, CCU, or other critical care nursing
Minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation preferred
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am to 5pm, ensuring a 40-hour work week. You will assist with patient blocks of 1 hour each, potentially handling up to 4 patients simultaneously with the provider.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
