Job Description

This role is open to both Certified Medical Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates!

Medical Assistant

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Getting Patients Ready to Shine – Prep charts, check vitals, and set the stage for great care!

  • Hands-On Clinical Work – Administer meds, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures like wound care, suture removal, and more.

  • Tech Savvy & Detail-Oriented – Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

  • Team Player Extraordinaire – Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well-oiled machine.

  • Patient Educator – Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow-up care.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program

  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) – Required at time of hire and must be maintained.

  • Certification: Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting).

  • Knowledge & Skills - Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections – You’ll be giving shots like a pro!

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills – You think on your feet and adapt quickly.

  • Excellent Organization & Time Management – You keep things running like a well-oiled machine.

  • Customer Service Rockstar – Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands.

  • Tech-Savvy – Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems.

  • Radiology Certification (if applicable) – If the role requires X-ray functions, you must have radiology training from your MA program or a validated competency checklist.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our team, you’ll work under the guidance of a registered nurse to deliver exceptional care in acute care, long-term care, home health, and ambulatory care environments. Whether you’re helping patients recover, supporting their daily care, or administering treatments, you’ll be an essential part of the healthcare team making a difference every day.

From conducting assessments and collecting patient data to administering medications and documenting care, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent healthcare. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Compassionate Care: Deliver nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a variety of settings, including acute care, long-term care, home health, and ambulatory care.

  • Assess & Document: Perform patient assessments, collect important data, and document the care you provide with precision and attention to detail.

  • Administer Medications & Treatments: Ensure medications and treatments are properly administered and documented, following all necessary protocols.

  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work alongside a dedicated healthcare team to support patients and ensure they’re receiving the best care possible.

  • Follow Standards: Perform all duties in alignment with the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act to ensure top-notch, safe care for every patient.

What You Need to Bring:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.

  • Licensure: Current license as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri.

  • Certification: Certified in Basic Life Support (BCLS).
