Lockheed Martin Customer Trainer Senior in King George, Virginia

Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Customer Trainer to join our team as we provide Surface Combat Systems training support to our United States Navy and International customers. This position will draw upon previous Naval experience to utilize on training development projects across multiple of Surface Navy platforms. The candidate will work in a project environment and should be eager to learn the latest technologies while being equally excited to share that information in support of the USN and International Programs stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Surface Combat Systems operational background in the FC/FCA ratings or equivalent experience gained through industry. The candidate must have the ability to work in a team or individual setting and a strong desire to develop new skillsets benefiting our team and our customer. The candidate will join an existing team with a proven track record.

- Requires ability to train in a shipboard and waterfront environment

- Requires Domestic/International travel approximately 40%

- Candidate must have a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

- US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience in a Combat Information Center (CIC) or Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) environment for Aegis or SSDS platforms

- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and oral communication skills effectively representing our team while interfacing with the customer

- Demonstrable ability and experience in working effectively with teams

- Demonstrated ability to build and present training program briefings and content for US and FMS Navy officials

- Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions

- Ability to comfortably stand in front of a classroom providing technical presentations

- Candidate must have a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

- US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

- Experience operating an Aegis trainer such as Oasis, Virtual Operator Training (VOT) or Next Generation Simulation (NGS)

- Familiarity with scenario development utilizing relevant onboard training system

- Experience with curriculum development

- Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification

- Relevant experience or knowledge of multiple Surface Combatant platforms

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
