United States Fleet Forces Command NON DESTRUCTIVE TEST INSPECTOR in Kings Bay, Georgia

WG-3705-11: $35.65 - 41.59 WG-3705-12: $37.67 - $43.95 WG-3705-13: $39.68 - $46.31 Responsibilities You will serve as a NON DESTRICTIVE TEST INSPECTOR in the NDT INSPECTION BRANCH (CODE-1352) SHOP 93A, QUALITY MANAGEMENT OFFICE (CODE-130), TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, KINGS BAY, GA. You will perform complex nondestructive testing and analysis on complex and non-routine components, piping systems and structural assemblies. You will acquire and record test results and data using enhanced signal processing and acquisition software on state of the art computer-based platforms. You will complete and maintain detailed test records subject to audit. You will perform calibration and safety checks on test equipment. You will conduct radiographic operations and/or serves as Radiographer-in-Charge (RIC) for nuclear and non-nuclear radiographic inspections. The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO WORK WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION such as: WG-13: Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections on prepared and fit-up surfaces Experience performing Magnetic Particle inspections of ferromagnetic materials to detect critical surface and subsurface discontinuities. Experience performing Radiographic Inspections and reading radiographic film to determine internal defects in various types of materials. Experience conducting various inspections such as Eddy Current Inspections and Ultrasonic Inspections wave. WG-12: Experience performing Liquid Penetrant inspection to detect surface defects in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Experience performing Radiographic Inspections and reading radiographic film to determine internal defects in various types of materials. Experience performing complex nondestructive testing and analysis on complex and non-routine components, piping systems and structural assemblies. WG-11: Experience interpreting, evaluating and analyzing test results by discriminating electromagnetic signatures, waveforms digital images, and the density of processed film. Experience maintaining detailed test records that are subject to audits. Experience interpreting test results and determines final acceptance/rejection of items.
