This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Stormwater Planning Team Lead for our Mid- Atlantic Earth and Environment team . The candidate will be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Serve as Client Account Manager for several Municipal Stormwater Clients
Work closely with our Engineering Team to help deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.
Operational Management for 6 staff
Develop business through developing client relationships.
Respond to requests for proposals and assemble project teams to meet client needs.
Successfully manage task-order based term contracts (scope, schedule, budget, profit, cash flow, client satisfaction, repeat work, etc.).
Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in planning, engineering, political science, public administration, environmental science, or natural resource management.
12+ years of relevant experience.
Experience leading a team.
Solid project management experience including scheduling, budgeting, resource management, profit, cash flow, and client relations.
Demonstrated experience/familiarity with federal/state water quality (TMDLs, Chesapeake Bay, NPDES, MS4) and flood control programs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with group facilitation.
Experience with strategic planning.
Marketing experience and willingness to develop a long-term client base.
CFM certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in planning, engineering, political science, public administration, environmental science, or natural resource management.
