Citigroup Vice President, Cash Management Product Sales, Citi Commercial Bank – Hybrid in Kowloon, Hong Kong

Citi’s Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence. Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is a solutions-led business for the demands of mid-sized and emerging corporates

The Cash Management Sales Manager is a driven professional role, who will lead cash management opportunities within Commercial Bank. Given that our business continues to grow exponentially, this role is integral to both executing on the strategy to both grow our existing client base wallet share but also acquire new clients in a rapid fashion. This person will be seen as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for cash management in front of clients and will be expected to grow the cash revenue by achieving sales win targets, maintaining a healthy pipeline and demonstrating strong sales disciplines. This role must be able to demonstrate strong communication and diplomacy skills, with collaboration with different internal stake holders including relationship managers, product partners, senior executives, etc.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Interface with a prospective list of clients, to develop an understanding of their operating flows, organization structures and needs in identifying and supporting the delivery of customized cash management solutions

  • A key player in partnerships with Coverage partners, focusing on revenue expansion and revenue realization through cross sell opportunities.

  • Responsible for achieving individual sales win goal, maintaining healthy deals pipeline and various sales metrics.

  • Identify and coordinate new cross-sell opportunities with Coverage Partners

  • Be part of a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.

  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and analytics in succinct and easy to grasp form as well as conceptual framework creation.

  • Deep understanding of client trends in liquidity, working capital, risk management, treasury technology etc. and distill them for mass consumption and direct business impact.

  • Strong knowledge of the Treasury and Trade Services and Citi Commercial Bank cash management business, revenue drivers, and products.

  • Proven abilities to focus resources and leverage data and analysis to drive towards business objectives.

  • Desire to challenge the conventional, own a problem, bring others onboard, and drive the firm to creating solutions.

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to gather consensus on priorities and drive initiatives.

  • Strong problem solving and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Committed, Trusted team player

  • High energy with strong initiative

  • Time Management and Organizational Skills

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, excel and analytical skills a must

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years cash product sales experience preferable in commercial banking segment

  • Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
