We are currently recruiting for the role of Country QA Specialist which involves enforcing the development, implementation, communication and maintenance of quality systems policies and procedures for the Company according to the approved quality system. You will be providing support to the business lines and related project. You will be ensuring quality auditing is performed as scheduled, and assisting the EC QA Manager in ensuring that the company quality awareness is implemented in full throughout the business lines and the related projects. This includes providing monthly quality statistics and identify areas for improvement to the EC QA Manager.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide leadership within the assigned country by enforcing the AECOM quality system and policies.

  • Ensure consistency between the Procedures and systems within the assigned country.

  • Assist the project management with the preparation of quality plans and other quality related documentation, whilst providing guidance / review towards the processing of the documents as required.

  • Plan and perform internal quality audits on the AECOM management system and report to the EC QA Manager.

  • Monitor the quality auditing performed within projects and provide auditing guidance to project quality team where needed.

  • Assist the EC QA Manager with preparing and presenting trend assessments from the audits and identify potential areas for improvement within the AECOM management system.

  • Monitor and asses the issued audit NC report and related root causes within the office and those done by project quality teams to identify potential trends and follow through on the timely closure.

  • Report the monthly quality statistics, trends and areas for improvement observed by the country quality team, such as form auditing, NC assessments, KPI assessments, etc.

  • Ensure that the documentation related to the quality system is complete, accurate and properly maintained.

  • Assist the EC QA Manager with performing quality inductions within the main office and provide guidance to the project teams regarding management system trainings, including any updates, whilst ensuring that all AECOM quality awareness information is provided to the business lines and related projects.

  • Directly report to the EC QA Manager on quality statistics and issues for the assigned country.

  • Liaise with SH&E regional managers for implementation of country-specific SH&E processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • In conjunction with operational leaders, establishes SH&E goals, targets, and action plans to ensure continual improvement and routinely monitors progress against plans.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Degree or a related field, incorporating quality qualifications.

  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (latest standard).

Specific Skills Required:

  • Thorough working knowledge of industry practices/safety/quality management systems.

  • Thorough knowledge of management methods and specifications, including design control processes.

  • Experienced in statistical reporting including KPIs and trend analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills using English Language (and local language of assigned country).

  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 (latest version) and implementation thereof.

  • Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 (latest version)

  • Certified Auditor for Occupational Health and Safety Management System based on ISO 45001:2018.

Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years’ experience within a similar role.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Lead Auditor.
