VF Corporation Senior Manager, Finance Technology (SAP FICO) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Analyze, evaluate, modify, configure, test and implement enterprise wide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.).

  • Prepare application system specifications. Plan, implement and coordinate system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance.

  • Manage, define, test, train and implement one or more functional areas within the ERP System

  • Manage business analysis of systems and follow through the full development life cycle

  • Educate others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules

  • Implement and communicate system change requirements

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements

  • Provide guidance, advice, and training for direct reports

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

  • Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager’s criteria

  • Ten years of progressive experience with at least three years of managerial experience

  • Strong organization and communication skills

Knowledge & Application:

  • Manager with expert knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function

  • Requires broad theoretical knowledge or advanced knowledge of a highly specialized field and their interrelationships

  • Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas

Problem Solving:

  • Understands complex issues and their application

  • Problems are unclearly defined and sufficient information may not be available

  • Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications

  • Solutions may need to be devised based on limited information

  • Implementation of solutions often requires a longer term view and take into consideration multiple perspectives and future implications
