Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Criminal Intelligence Analyst III to join our team! In this role you will get to conduct advanced criminal intelligence research and analysis, assess intel requirements and serve as a liaison to stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform highly advanced criminal intelligence research and analysis involving complex data analysis, report writing, and identification of criminal activity patterns.

  • Conduct complex research and strategic crime analysis to identify and evaluate patterns and trends using probability studies and statistical analyses; develop hypotheses, victim/suspect profiles, and forecast criminal activity.

  • Produce and analyze intelligence reports on criminal activity, threats, and vulnerabilities.

  • Process intelligence information using various analytical tools to produce studies, special reports, briefings, threat assessments, link analysis, and forecasts.

  • Research, analyze, evaluate, and correlate criminal intelligence information to determine source reliability; develop investigative leads; distinguish patterns/trends.

  • Organize/maintain sensitive/nonsensitive/open-source case data/files for retrieval if further analysis is needed.

  • Collect/compile criminal intelligence information/statistics to generate data for investigations through personal contact/documentation of various sources.

  • Create/prepare/review/present detailed reports/intelligence documents/presentations/briefings on criminal intelligence analysis for dissemination.

  • Assess intelligence requirements/needs to recommend/prioritize data collection plans/potential targets/case strategies.

  • Serve as a liaison with internal/external groups to provide analytical assistance/share resources.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 5–8 years' experience in criminal intelligence analysis work.

  • Bachelor's degree with major coursework in criminal justice/homeland security/intelligence (experience/education may be substituted for one another).

  • Knowledge of intelligence gathering/crime analysis processes/methodologies/statistical analysis/probability modeling/human behavior/group dynamics/law enforcement operations/report writing/presentation skills.

  • Perform highly advanced (senior-level) criminal intelligence research and analysis work under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

  • Proficiency in computer/software use.

  • Ability to provide clear/concise written reports; use charts/graphs/geospatial mapping for crime series/patterns/trends; analyze suspect/victim profiles; conduct tactical crime analyses; prepare tactical action plans; set priorities/goals/deadlines; communicate effectively.

  • Able to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI US Government security clearance (US Citizenship required).

  • Must be able to obtain a US Passport.

  • Must successfully pass all medical requirements for deployment.

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00

This position requires a Fit for Duty exam as part of the job requirements. Successful completion of this exam(s) will be required post offer acceptance, prior to you being able to continue in the hiring process and onboarding.
