Job Summary:

Trane Technologies is currently seeking a Materials Analyst (PFEP Coordinator) to maintain the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) database. This role will work effectively with other groups such as manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, planning, and distribution to ensure accuracy of the part data and execution of part changes. In this role, the Materials Analyst (PFEP Coordinator) will also work with the new product development team. Interested candidates, who meet the requirements below, are encouraged to apply today!

Where is the work:

  • This position has been designated as full time on-site at our La Crosse, WI facility and is considered safety-sensitive.

What you will do:

  • Maintain the PFEP Template with input from all affected parties from suppliers to customers.

  • Ensure root cause countermeasure processes are complete to identify and provide solutions as related to PFEP.

  • Support / update PFEP as it relates to excess & obsolete processes.

  • Work collaboratively with Operations and Materials Leadership to understand line rates and Replenishment Market levels.

  • Provide input and support for new product introductions along with phasing in/out products to support the NPD (New Product Development) process.

  • Complete controlled maintenance of the PFEP following established guidelines and standard work.

  • Update PFEP data on regular cadence.

  • Analyze production requirements and makes recommendations for optimal material flow, storage and delivery.

  • Provide data and supports lineside & replenishment market calculations.

  • Provide support as required to manage Kanban and VMI solutions with suppliers.

  • Participate in Kaizen events as required.

  • Maintain material information in ORACLE/ERP.

  • Participated in root cause analysis for overstock inventory.

  • Remove obsolete and low usage items from production supermarket & update all Systems accordingly.

  • Support all Material Flow Projects (ex. Market moves, rack resizing and line Rate adjustment projects).

  • Coordinates all PFEP Gemba walks and data gathering projects to support accurate PFEP data.

What you will bring:

  • Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Production and Inventory Control, Operations, Purchasing, or Manufacturing preferred. High Excel skills is preferred.

  • Experience in material control and production planning environment desired.

  • Evidence of analytical aptitude and communications skills.

  • Adapts to change by identifying implication of change for Trane Technologies and own job, adjusting as needed, and working with others as appropriate to implement change initiatives.

  • Take accountability for meeting commitments and deadlines.

  • Ability to work in environment prone to deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with internal and external resources.

  • Must be able to develop presentations, documentation, and training on subjects. Must be able to present the material to a variety of audiences.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $60,000-$75,000.
