Need 10 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers, Crops and Livestock to work in Lake City, MN. From: 02/17/2025 to 12/01/2025 Work: 55 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day, Sun. 7hrs/day. 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. May have to work nights, possibly weekends. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. Workers will be paid overtime in accordance with Minnesota Statute 177, specifically 177.25 Subdivision 1 and/or 177.23 Subdivision 7(2). Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DESCRIPTION: Operate tractors, tractor drawn machinery and self propelled machinery to cultivate soil and plant, spray and harvest crops, Direct and monitor work, Record information about crops, Maintain inventory, clean work areas and founds Repair farm buildings, Attend and care for farm animals including vaccinating, calving, tagging. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping and bending over and repetitive movements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience for the job duties listed; able to lift 75 lbs.; valid Class D Driver's License or able to obtain license following hire; obtain clean driving record; possible random drug test post hire at employer's expense; testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
