Base Compensation Range: $20/hr - $23/hr This position is eligible for an annual 10% bonus opportunity in addition to the base salary

Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing. Job Summary The Production Assembler II is responsible for performing intermediate-level assembly tasks within the production department. This role requires a greater understanding of the assembly process, the ability to handle more complex assembly tasks, and the use of advanced tools and equipment. Ensures that components are assembled accurately, efficiently, and meet all safety and quality standards. Train and mentor entry-level assemblers, assisting with troubleshooting, and leading improvements in the assembly process. Duties/Responsibilities Advanced Assembly Tasks: * Assemble components and sub-assemblies into finished products using advanced hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment. * Follow detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate assembly. * Perform functional testing and quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure proper operation and adherence to specifications. * Work with a variety of materials and components, including electromechanical parts, electrical wiring, and specialized equipment. Quality Control and Inspections: * Conduct quality inspections during the assembly process to ensure that all parts are assembled correctly and meet production specifications. * Identify any defects or discrepancies in components and escalate issues to the quality control or engineering team for resolution. * Ensure that all products are assembled in compliance with company quality standards and industry regulations. * Troubleshoot and resolve minor quality issues independently, escalating more complex issues when necessary. Process Improvement and Troubleshooting: * Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality. * Support efforts to troubleshoot equipment and assembly issues by diagnosing problems and implementing corrective actions. * Provide input on improving workflows, tools, and assembly techniques to increase productivity and quality. * Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Training and Mentoring: * Serve as a mentor to entry-level assemblers (U1), providing guidance on assembly procedures, tool use, and troubleshooting. * Assist with on-the-job training for new employees and help develop skills to improve team performance. * Provide feedback and support to junior team members to improve the overall effectiveness of the production team. Safety and Compliance: * Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. * Ensure that all work areas and equipment are in compliance with health and safety standards. * Actively participate in safety meetings, report safety hazards, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. * Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Documentation and Reporting: * Accurately document production quantities, material usage, and any issues encountered during the assembly process. * Report on assembly progress and highlight any delays, issues, or concerns that may affect the production schedule. * Maintain records of assembly activities, quality control inspections, and materials used as required by company policies. Collaboration and Teamwork: * Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to ensure that products are assembled correctly and efficiently. * Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving production
