Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Define, gather, analyze and organize the various data sets related to various products and solutions proposed in Europe as part of the Xylem portfolio, in order to enable corrective actions in various stages of the product lifecycle
Define, gather, analyze and organize the various data sets related to competing solutions to the Xylem offer, and proposes corrective action to attain corporate objectives regarding market share, revenues, margins and growth rates
Provide the analysis of data and drive industry reporting and market research such as GWI, Omdia, Bluefield and Frost&Sullivan
Coordinate VOC activities in regards to analysis of the data and presentation of the outcome
Contribute in gathering and analyzing data required for the XPD Toll Gate process for products and solutions as they apply to Europe
Contribute to pricing and proposal activity through analysis of financial customer, market and product data
Coordinate gathering input to forecasts for revenue and planning purposes, and contribute to establishing action plans
Deliver presentations to executive management and drive regular calls/meetings to maintain maximum visibility on market activity, strategic initiatives and competitive positioning
Coordinate the communication of market reports and analysis to the relevant stakeholders, exploring the best channels and formats
The background & interests we would like to see in your profile and/or educate you further in :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, MBA is appreciated
5+ years’ experience in product management or business analysis, ideally in a utility environment
Language skills include English, German strongly recommended, other languages are a plus
Solid experience with and understanding of market and financial business data in a corporate environment, using tools such as SAP, PLM software, Excel
Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly
Exceptional organizational, planning, documentation and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and professionally across a wide range of constituencies
Understanding of communications and software development lifecycle and complex technical solutions
Experience developing and managing technical requirements
Demonstrated ability to negotiate win-win scenarios cross organizationally
Experience in a fast-paced matrixed technical organization
Ability to work independently while responding to changing business and technical conditions
Infrequent travel to be expected, to Xylem locations in Europe and industry conferences (typically less than 30%).
Flexibility towards working times, locations and hours.
