Dare for Better Over the past several years and for the foreseeable future the shape of consumer/customer demand is evolving, requiring portfolio breadth for both PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) and PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA). Coupled with the intense trends in digital commerce and the need to provide Omni-Channel capabilities, the definition of our Supply Chain network is more important than ever.
To address these trends PepsiCo has committed to the development of the 1 North America (NA) Network Design team. From our DSD and warehouse networks to eCommerce fulfillment, our supply chain will be designed to gain synergies across PepsiCo and will future-proof and enable it with flexibility to address the changing shape of demand and customer requirements. The PepsiCo North America Network Design Team will be focused on delivering these initiatives through data-based optimizations and analysis while shaping our future supply chain.
Responsibilities The Network Design Associate Manager will be part of the team delivering these initiatives. Work with cutting-edge supply chain optimization and analytical tools to help mold the future distribution and fulfillment network of PepsiCo North America! The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for scoping and modeling the future supply chain network. It will involve detailed financial and cost-to-serve analysis as well as the geographic optimization of our network. The output of this work will feed the future design of facilities and our supply chain network.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Develop models using modeling tools to evaluate the sourcing and distribution network, perform strategic network analysis, conduct scenario analysis, identify opportunities across the network to optimize capacity, cost, space, and service level parameters, and provide recommendations to the business. - Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to be used as inputs for supply chain models. Use ETL tools to automate the pre-processing as much as possible. - Perform greenfield analysis, cost-to-serve analysis, and distribution network optimization/simulation using network optimization tools. - Conduct cost-benefit analyses of proposed changes and provide recommendations to senior management. - Work cross-functionally with other supply chain leaders to define, analyze, and develop go-forward recommendations to senior leaders based on execution and strategic considerations. - Serve as an internal consultant, addressing ad hoc requests, questions, and/or projects.
Compensation and Benefits: - The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
