JOB SUMMARY:
The Director is responsible for the day to day operations of our Free Standing Emergency Room Locations at Saunders, South, and Wright Ranch. The Director oversees the entire nursing staff for his/her service, serving as an administrative liaison between the staff and other hospital departments, physicians, administration, etc
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees that all staff members carry out their duties safely, timely, compassionately and efficiently including providing patient care directly as necessary.

``` 2. Assists Administrators in annual budget preparation for approval. Monitors and reviews operating budget periodically to analyze trends affecting the budget.

``` 3. Ability to apply knowledge, skills and understanding of the principles, practices, Timely evaluations, including coaching, counseling, and initiating corrective actions. 4. Works with physicians to evaluate and enhance the patient experience. Continually evaluates the efficiency of patient flow, staffing patterns and other operations to assess opportunities for improved patient care and cost effectiveness.

``` 5. Directly communicates with physicians and other members of management to resolve conflict or other issues quickly and effectively.

``` 6. Ensures that policy and procedures are followed by all staff including compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies. Communicates information to all health care team members regarding patient care and outcomes. Assists in development of plan for continuous improvement and patient care.

``` 7. Promotes and provides a safe environment for staff and patients. 8. Work with staff and maintain high quality patient care, including making appropriate changes as warrented. 9. Work towards meeting all quality metrics at your departments. 10. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Texas RN License
Bachelor's Degree required, MSN preferred
Previous charge or supervisory experience required.
Previous management experience required
Certifications (PALS, ONS/ONCC and others as required by specialty) to obtained within six months
BLS/ACLS required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
