Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.69

Second Shift: M-F 2:30PM to 11:00PM

What’s a typical day as a Sanitization Technician? You’ll be:

  • Adhering to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, equipment, policies, and procedures, including department-specific requirements.

  • Maintaining a mindset that all accidents can be prevented and working proactively to achieve zero harm in the workplace.

  • Following defined Quality Management Systems, all applicable procedures, reviewing maintenance records, and completing all documentation as required.

  • Maintaining a continuous flow of the servicing line and working independently and as part of a team to achieve process yield results.

  • Receiving and unpackaging all incoming medical devices and following procedures to assess proper disposition of medical equipment.

  • Using chemical solutions to disinfect and sanitize devices, production equipment, or the immediate work environment (e.g., diluted bleach solution, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol wipes, etc.).

  • Operating and monitoring UV cleaning equipment and escalating issues as needed.

  • Preparing cleaning and sanitizing solutions as per standard operating procedures.

  • Rotating into assembly, repair, shipment preparation, and test areas as needed.

  • Training employees on an as-needed basis.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.
