THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a Seasonal HR Coordinator to support the Production HR team with sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding event-based teams. This position will report to the Production HR Generalist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open roles

  • Provide optimal experience for every candidate from application stage to onboarding candidate of choice

  • Ensure a smooth recruiting process by using communication skills to manage expectations and provide process updates to hiring team

  • Process new hires through HRIS system and assist in new hire onboarding

  • Complete the I9 verification requirements for new hires

  • Coordinate the completion of background checks

  • Assist HR team and employees on-site with general onboarding and payroll inquiries

  • Required to work onsite in Las Vegas in November 2024

  • Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, or related experience

  • 2+ years of experience in event-based HR and recruiting

  • Basic experience with employment law

  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of HRIS, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Airtable

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (chairs, tables, etc.)

  • May work in drastic temperature climates

  • Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

Hiring Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 USD
