BANQUET SALES COORDINATORLatham, NYFusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Banquet Sales Coordinator, to join our client in the Latham, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a competitive benefits package.Duties and Responsibilities•Develop and implement sales plans to generate new banquet and wedding business•Prospect for new clients and develop relationships with key decision-makers•Conduct tours and meetings with prospective clients to present the banquet and wedding facilities and services•Negotiate and close contracts with clients•Work with clients to plan their events, including menus, seating arrangements, décor, and audiovisual needs•Coordinate with other restaurant/banquet departments to ensure that events are executed smoothly and that clients are satisfied•Track and report on banquet and wedding sales performance•Evening and weekend work required when neededQualifications and Requirements•2-3 years of experience in banquet or wedding sales•Excellent sales and customer service skills•Strong interpersonal and communication skills•Ability to work independently and as part of a team•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banquet sales softwareSalary•$70-100k plus (based on experience) Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
