Philips Intern-Quality Engineering - Latham, NY-Summer 2025 in Latham, New York

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing a BS degree to participate in 3 paid intern opportunities at our site in Latham, NY. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a fast-moving consumer products company.

Your role:

  • Create process maps to support process validation protocols and generate incoming inspection protocols based on material risk and performance.

  • Support in CAPA investigations to determine root cause and appropriate corrective actions and organize database in validated application (Windchill) to manage Quality Records.

  • Review quality records for compliance to approved procedures and Good Documentation Processes (GDP), such as Verification & Validation (V&V) forms, Device History Records (DHR) and Non-conforming Material Reports (NCMR).

  • Verify procedures and work instructions accurately reflect activities performed, and propose revisions, as needed.

  • Ensure accuracy of master data related to calibration, inspection plans, and eDHR in appropriate applications

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently majoring in an engineering field on track to receive a bachelor degree.

  • Experience working within a team to achieve goals with defined timelines and deliverables.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time efficiently. Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing and Documentation Processes (GMP and GDP), preferred; experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) desired

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
