Dartmouth Health Palliative Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

The Section of Palliative Care in the Department of Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a Palliative Care APP to join our interdisciplinary Palliative Care Service. Our team is comprised of Palliative Medicine physicians, APPs, coordinating RNs, chaplains, social workers, and healing arts. You will join an established and nationally recognized team committed to promoting excellence and innovation in clinical care, education, and research.Many of our faculty have completed Faculty Development Training and teach communication that focuses on building progressive skills with a learner-centric and interactive approach, based onVitalTalkprinciples.This position will practice at the academic medical center in Lebanon, NH.

We seek clinicians with the following attributes:

  • A proven track record of sophisticated communication skills

  • Expertise in symptom management

  • Effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary framework

  • APP fellowship training or experience in palliative medicine

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will include inpatient consultations and follow-ups

  • Core Faculty member for our Interprofessional Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship

  • All APPs at this location will carry a 10% teaching responsibility and will receive an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
