What You'll Do
Design and develop software solutions with a focus on quality, testability, and scalability.
Contribute to architecture and design while factoring in business priorities.
Proactively identify problems with requirements and suggest innovative solutions.
Lead development reviews, offering perspectives based on knowledge and experience.
Optimize and improve existing systems and designs for better performance and usability.
Mentor junior engineers and actively share knowledge within and beyond your team.
Develop and implement robust test strategies, ensuring code meets high-quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features aligned with business goals.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (equivalent education or work experience)
3+ years of programming experience with 2+ years of recent experience in JavaScript technologies (React, Node, Angular, TypeScript, E6, etc.)
Strong expertise in software design, architecture, and common design patterns.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and ability to debug complex systems.
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and knowledge sharing across teams.
Familiarity with secure programming practices and performance optimization techniques.
Ability to evaluate and integrate relevant open-source technologies.
Proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions in cross-functional environments.
Excellent communication skills to articulate design approaches and solicit feedback.
A growth mindset with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with: Java, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, RDBMS NoSQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch, AWS, GCP.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $113,400 -- $206,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
