Job Summary | The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful. The Nurse Clinical within the Comprehensive Vascular Clinic will utilize evidence-based practices to provide wound care treatments, including selection of appropriate dressings and utilization of therapeutic techniques to promote healing and reduce complications. Additionally, the Nurse Clinical will provide patient education, ensuring all parties are knowledgeable about best practices in wound management and prevention strategies. |
