BUNZL Order Processing Clerk - Own Brands (Atlanta, GA) in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Description

As an Ordering Process Clerk, you will be responsible for entering and processing purchase orders tied to our Bunzl Own Brand business. In addition to data entry, clerical and customer service work; you will partner with our Vendor Pricing Admin Clerks and other internal purchasing support teams to answer internal inquires, enter and successfully process orders via the AS400 system and support clerical duties tied to our Own Brand product supply line. Vendors will be both import and domestic.

This role will be onsite, 8am-5pm M-F, based out of our Atlanta, GA (Lathia Springs) office.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and successfully process orders from vendors (50-100 daily) via the AS400 system;

  • Answer internal inquiries (phone and email) to investigate customer & vendor problems and concerns to successful resolution;

  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Expedit orders as required to meet customer needs;

  • Work effectively in a large team environment to meet business goals and objectives by balancing team needs and individual task focus;

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of clerical and/or customer service experienced;

  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task using judgment and sound decision-making;

  • Experience with AS400 operating system preferred;

  • Demonstrated strong customer focus and support skills;

  • User level proficiency in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel;

  • Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills;

  • Proficient 10 key data entry skills.
