About the role:
As the Hire to Retire GPO, you will drive process excellence, innovation, and best practice for all HR processes. You will be accountable for end-to-end process strategy, design, delivery, and continuous improvement. This role is key in transforming HR into a market-leading function through process excellence, through applying key process competencies and knowledge of technological enablers to create value. You will work closely with the CoEs who are ultimately accountable for relevant processes within their scope, as well as driving change through the wider HR organization.
Key responsibilities:
Setting the strategic agenda
Sets the strategy for the end-to-end process in alignment with the overall business and in agreement with P&D stakeholders
Prioritizes highest impact areas to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Agrees on performance improvements and delivery methods
Injecting expertise
Builds capability / knowledge to improve processes
Incorporates best practices into strategic agenda
Uses knowledge of best practices to drive process simplification and automation through the use of technology
Driving alignment and collaboration
Sets the interactions in BC strategic context driving urgency, alignment, and progress
Collaborates across functions and teams to agree and achieve common objectives
Changes behaviors to drive adoption and achieve desired outcomes
Overseeing process excellence
Performs root cause analysis on process breakdowns
Drives continuous improvement and transformation initiatives
Monitors process performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs
Strategy, design, and alignment
Defines the vision for the global process and sets the strategy for implementation including defining long-term objectives, principles, policy, and standards
Governs the process: agreeing and prioritizing changes / improvement initiatives across the process, organization, and technology
Sets efficiency and effectiveness targets aligned to overall strategic targets (e.g. SLAs, KPIs)
Influences and mobilizes stakeholders to gain agreement on the strategy of the process / improvements
Managing and orchestrating changing behaviors in a way that facilitates achieving the desired outcomes
Maintains overall responsibility for overseeing the development of standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, and driving standardization
Influence Service delivery
Accountable for efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end process
Drives continuous improvement and transformation initiatives
Monitors process performance against agreed service level agreements and KPIs
Proactively engages with IT and HRIS teams to plan any technology changes/requirements
Reviews and approves process-related change requests and presents appropriate changes to the Steerco and functions
Involves and engages key stakeholders to deliver the process changes / improvements
Continuous improvement
Drives continuous improvement, and transformation initiatives and delivers against benefits case
Delivery of target process maturity
Recognizes constraints in place i.e. shadow technology, with bespoke functionality and non-standard processes
Establishes roadmap of how to overcome constraints through workaround or replacements, making the case for change, articulating benefits
Drive efficiency initiatives in the form of automation, including process and control/governance automation
Understands local processes and the extent of local deviation against the global standard (fit / gap) and map the way forward toward the realization of a global standard
Guides the Process owners across the organization (CoE, SSC, and adjacent departments) and the vendors on strategy and implementation
Engages with IT and associated data or master data leaders in the event of technology enablement and/or required reporting
Managing and orchestrating changing behaviors in a way that facilitates achieving the desired outcomes for the global process and builds towards global standardization
Takes a lead role in root cause analysis identifying sources of process breakdown
About you:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business, HR / Economics / Project management or similar
LEAN Six Sigma – Greenbelt, BB would be an asset
Very good command of English
HR transformation experience including technology landscape change management;
Change Management;
Transition experience in the dispersed ecosystem;
Min 10 years of work experience in HR within managerial positions;
At least 2 years of experience in relevant roles as Global Process Owner, Transformation Manager, or People Process Excellence
Experience in leading process simplification and standardization in a global organization (diverse white collar/blue collar organization experience strongly preferred)
Good knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow is a plus;
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to agree and achieve common objectives
Understanding of business and HR strategies, and implications for the global end-to-end process
Understands enablement options, with a particular focus on digitalization and automation
Continuous Improvement mindset
Taking ownership of improvement targets, overseeing the delivery of continuous improvement and analytical skills
Comfortable with some level of risk
