Enterprise Solutions – Associate Sales Associate

Duties & Accountabilities:

This is a hybrid role spanning sales support and sales development activities across our team of salespeople in the EMEA region.

You’ll be assisting the Lending Solutions Software Sales teams by providing ground support to help drive revenue retention and acquisition across S&P Market Intelligence's Software Solutions product lines to help us achieve and exceed business goals.

You will run campaigns to engage with new prospects, work with our specialists and the legal team to draft contracts and will be using a full suite of tools to develop our pipeline and support growth.

Based in Paris or London, this role requires close interaction with management and individuals across three sales teams. You’ll be collaborating with surrounding groups such as account management, legal, marketing, sales ops, SDR and product teams across the firm in what is a varied and challenging role.

Alongside prospecting, you will have close interactions with the existing customer base to maintain relationships and existing revenue as well as identifying and supporting upsell opportunities, fully supported by our expert sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify incoming queries and prospects

  • Support the sales team with drafting contracts for new opportunities and renewals

  • Assist management with SalesForce queries and reporting

  • Intensive on-line research while identifying key decision makers from global financial institutions

  • Conduct outbound / cold call & cold on-line engagements and develop leads / prospects and pass to the sales team as well as speaking with prospects who have attended events / requested information

  • Be creative and implement activities to contact new customers and generate new business

  • Accurately track leads & activities (calls, emails, meetings) using CRM

  • Take responsibility in centralising and coordinating the update and maintenance of sales materials across the regional sales teams

  • Produce periodic status and engagement reports

  • Ensure handoffs to sales are successful and exceed customer expectations

Position’s Requirements:

  • Experience in dealing with customers and business partners

  • Fluency in English and (ideally) other European languages

  • Service oriented personality

  • Self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to achieve and exceed goals

  • Team player with ability to work independently

  • Flawless written and oral communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Business Management

  • Technical orientation

  • Experience with customer management systems (ideally Salesforce)
