Do you have the business savvy and digital leadership background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider in the Transport sector? You will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of emerging technology in this highly strategic market segment. Your responsibilities will include advising senior public sector leaders on strategy and to drive adoption and revenue.

You have a deep understanding of technology, ideally Cloud related, as well as Transport experience and a profile that enables you to facilitate high level engagement in this market segment. You will possess both a customer obsessed attitude with a good understanding of how UK transportation organisations operate and the challenges they face when making technology decisions. You will have an ability to build relationships at all levels with customer organisations driving tangible outcomes. You are a self-starter, who wants to build a business driving tangible customer outcomes and a passion for making a difference.

Key job responsibilities

• Help drive revenue and market segment share.

• Facilitate strong relationships with key officials, policy makers, advisors, and key partners.

• Create and maintain long-term strategic customer relationships with Transport leaders.

• Help define AWS' Transport sector strategy.

• Develop and execute against a comprehensive development plan.

• Develop and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

• Accelerate customer adoption and strategic partnerships.

• Work with partners to extend reach and facilitate adoption.

• Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud services and Digital transformation with key Transport sector areas

A day in the life

  • Present thought leadership and build relationships with senior management teams.

  • Identify and engage key partners including global infrastructure, system integrator, consulting partners, and ISVs.

  • Support builders who develop innovative transportation solutions on AWS.

  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and input into Go-To-Market strategy.

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to create cross industry opportunities.

  • Serve as a key member of the international Transport ecosystem.

  • Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military or professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
