  Must have skills

• Significant cash fixed income experience with an in-depth understanding of fixed income markets, index investments and tracking

• Demonstrated success in managing fixed income portfolios and achieving performance objectives

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proficiency in financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, and portfolio management systems

• Experience in trading and execution and portfolio optimisation

• Suited to an entrepreneurial, open environment with a flexible and adaptable mindset

• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and with external clients

• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player

  Nice to have skills

• Experience managing index/passive portfolios preferred

• Experience managing equity portfolios and/or multi-asset funds

• Programming skills – proficient in Python

• CFA or equivalent preferred

• Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on markets

  You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm, and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role.
