Amazon Flex is continuing to build a high paced and lean European team to implement and expand Flex capabilities across key segments of the European business. Amazon is now looking to hire an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and (most importantly) customer-obsessed Operational Excellence Program Manager.

You will drive performance across our AMZL operations. You will be responsible for improving KPI metrics across the network with high-impact and visibility changes. You will drive execution and efficiency through data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving. You will focus on cost, customer experience, and delivery partner experience, both in daily execution and suggesting long-term step-function improvements.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate success in a program management or operational role within a highly operational and technology focused environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily delivery quality, cost, and customer experience for AMZL delivery stations

  • Deep dive intra-day and intra-week tends and create action plans to address operational issues in coordination with Delivery Stations, partner teams, and Field Ops.

  • Deploy process improvement initiatives at a network-wide level to drive improvement in input and output metrics.

  • Identify opportunities to automate/optimize existing Flex / AMZL processes to increase effectiveness.

  • Feed learnings and trends into weekly planning, organizational staffing, and scheduling needs.

  • Own taking proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across OE org.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Experience with data and knowledge in Excel and SQL

  • Experience driving process improvements

  • Experience with planning, creating standard work, and performance metrics

  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership

  • Written communication skills including document writing to drive process change

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Operations or related field

  • Experience leading process improvement through Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma

  • Knowledge in Python

  • Knowledge of transportation / logistics / platform-based delivery programs
