Google Program Manager, Reverse Logistics Operations in London, United Kingdom

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of experience in program management.

  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.

  • Experience in project management or process improvement; demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong operations and program management skills within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, to meet rigorous operational performance.

  • Effective analytical and structured problem solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration skills exhibited in complex operational setting.

  • Ability to effectively engage and proactively lead efforts with business, operations, finance and engineering teams.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

  • Coordinate and deliver program communications in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including metrics progress, meeting notes, meeting AIs, decision/escalation logs, newsletters, and websites.

  • Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders.

  • Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic program, specify program OKRs, and explain resource requirements/dependencies, in close collaboration with program stakeholders.

  • Author stakeholder map that specifies who is impacted by, and who influences, program outcome in close collaboration with program stakeholders.

  • Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution.
