We are looking for a highly experienced creative leader, to take a data led approach to develop our strategy and

deliver content that will inspire and support SMBs around the world.

Sage is currently transforming its brand and reinventing B2B marketing through the creation of a highly

empathetic human-to-human positioning to its customers. This reinvention has led to an organisational

transformation and the creation of the ‘Integrated Campaigns team’ (IC), responsible for the strategy, production

and optimisation of all marketing campaigns globally.

The Content & Social Media team (CSM) sits at the heart of the IC team and is a critical marketing ‘Craft’ in

helping Sage reposition itself as an innovative, modern brand to our global audiences, whilst achieving our

business ambitions.

The CSM team is responsible for the vision, strategy, development and optimisation of all content across the

marketing funnel; from thought leadership, campaigns, customer stories, web, social media and into sales

enablement. This team currently consists of content strategists, writers, videographers and social media

specialists

This is a key role in the IC leadership team, with the remit to lead and evolve the Content and Social Media Craft

to ensure Sage achieves its ambitious brand and business goals, through the development of industry leading

content and social media activation.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

Define a vision and strategy for content for the Sage brand and for all audiences (Financial

& HR professionals, Small Businesses & Accountants), helping to position Sage as the

innovative and modern brand of choice for SMBs.

Partner with IC & PMM team to develop content plans for each audience across all stages

of the funnel that help achieve our brand and commercial outcomes

Lead the development and production of content to deliver highly creative but efficient

execution that can be easily scaled across regions, in partnership with IC & PMM

Partnering with IC and media to increase reach and relevance with our core audiences

Create a culture of innovation and evolve the CSM team and agency ecosystem to become

a world-class operation

Define the Sage social media strategy that can effectively support business priorities

Measure the effectiveness of our content at every stage of the funnel and lead the

optimisation of the journey to improve our business goals, working in partnership with IC,

Media and Performance Marketing (regional teams).

We're ideally looking for:

  • Proven track record of developing highly creative and effective content campaigns, ideally for B2B brands

  • Leadership skills with the ability to nurture, and inspire team members to be innovative and deliver highly creative and quality results

  • Ability to influence through insights and data

  • Ability to collaborate and partner with industry experts to convert technical information into compelling narratives

  • Attention to detail in the content execution across the end-to-end customer journey

  • Experience in SEO and social

Success will be measured against:

  • Content performance within campaigns: shift brand metrics, achieve engagement and conversion goals

  • Organic (inbound) audience growth via content by region.

  • Web traffic, conversion metrics

  • Social Media organic metrics based on specific objectives

  • Awards for content and social creativity & effectiveness
