Hyatt Chief Engineer in LONG BEACH, California

Description:

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the oversight of the operation of the hotel. This includes the inside as well as the outside of the building. This person must be knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering.

The salary range for this position is $66,500 - $95,700. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

-Prior experience in engineering roles within the hospitality industry.

-Possessing relevant certifications HVAC, plumbing, electrical.

-Strong technical skills in areas such as HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building maintenance.

-As a chief engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and maintenance staff. Strong leadership and management skills are crucial for this position.

-The ability to troubleshoot issues, make decisions under pressure, and find solutions to complex engineering problems.

-Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to the hospitality industry.

-Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, management, vendors, and guests. The ability to convey technical information clearly.
