The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a full-time, 0.90 FTE variable shift position in our 37-bed Emergency Department, a Level III Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center. Work three 12-hour shifts weekly and make a real difference in patient lives within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

St. John Medical Center is a 177-bed acute care facility that offers the intimacy of a community hospital paired with the resources of PeaceHealth, a non-profit healthcare organization. Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care that complies with professional standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality care.

• Document patient care in accordance with established healthcare record standards.

• Manage and direct patient care with leadership and expertise in complex cases.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

• Current Washington RN or Multi-State licensure (or ability to obtain by hire date).

• Minimum two years of recent emergency experience preferred (alternative experience may be considered).

• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (within six months of hire), PALS or ENPC (within one year of hire), TNCC (within one year of hire).
