RGP Senior Director, Strategic Client Accounts - Hybrid in Los Angeles, California
We are seeking a Senior Director, Client Development – Strategic Client Accounts (SCA) to drive growth within our most high-impact client relationships. This role is critical to expanding revenue through new business development, strategic account management, and the deepening of existing client partnerships. Aligned with our entrepreneurial culture, the Senior Director will have the opportunity to build, lead, and own a portfolio of premier accounts, while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve key business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the SCA program.
Lead sales activities for an assigned client portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and revenue targets.
Develop and implement tactical sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and client retention objectives.
Conduct comprehensive account planning and contribute innovative, strategic ideas to enhance client engagement and value delivery.
Lead high-impact strategic pursuits, utilizing the full breadth of RGP’s capabilities and resources.
Build and sustain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to deepen account penetration and expand business opportunities.
Identify and cultivate new client opportunities, focusing on account diversification and solution expansion.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating deep understanding of RGP’s business model, value proposition, and the impact on client operations.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams to deliver comprehensive, high-value solutions to clients.
Consistently meet or exceed established KPIs and performance metrics.
Support enterprise-wide initiatives within the account portfolio, including forecasting, budgeting, account planning, and sales process optimization.
Contribute to RGP’s culture of continuous improvement by sharing client case studies, thought leadership, and insights on market trends and emerging needs.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years of business development experience, ideally within Fortune 500 organizations; experience in media and entertainment is a plus.
Demonstrated success in selling professional services within large, global accounts, with a strong track record in strategic partnerships and account growth.
Proven ability to drive results through effective communication, creative problem solving, and a strong customer-focused mindset.
Entrepreneurial spirit with experience in building or transforming businesses; thrives in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies.
Detail-oriented with exceptional skills in account management, planning, and leveraging technology to drive sales effectiveness.
Adept at building lasting client relationships through a collaborative, high-performance, and urgency-driven approach.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and networking skills, with a natural ability to establish trust and credibility across all levels of an organization.
Advanced skills in business development, sales effectiveness, strategic partnerships, account management, and presentation skills.
All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
Base Pay Range: $134,000 - $168,000
Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation
