Anastasia Beverly Hills Sr. Director, International Sales in Los Angeles, California

The Senior Director of International Sales will work under the direction of the VP International Sales to lead the development and execution of brand strategic plan for existing retail accounts and distributor markets, and expanding new distribution on retailer and county level.

Essential Job Functions

Distributors and Retailer Accounts

  • Collaborate with retailers and distributors to negotiate and execute: annual business plan including retail sales targets, gross sales targets, commercial terms, promotional plan, sales and marketing investment and strategy to support newness and core business.

  • Manage and optimize the PNL monthly in line with the budget objectives.

  • Defines and implements KPIs to monitor and optimize distributor performance.

  • Collects and shares distribution best practices across the distributor markets.

  • Oversee the market strategy and manage account management personnel.

    New Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new market and channel opportunities to be in line with company objective.

  • Maintains information flow about assigned responsibilities and accountabilities for everyone involved, scheduling/deadlines, and through managing communication within cross functional departments.

  • Generates a monthly meeting and update expansion report to management.

  • When a project or plan changes, gain an understanding of the impact of those changes to budget plan and come up with remediation plan.

    Reporting & Analysis

  • Provide regular sales reporting and analysis to VP International Sales, such as best sellers, mix of business, door rankings, and topline sales results as they compare to past data and forecast.

  • Participate in weekly/monthly business review with leadership team.

  • Participate in regular budget and forecast review with VP International Sales and CFO.

    Merchandising

  • Stay current on seasonal fixture update plans as carried out by Merchandising Department, helping to build assortment templates.

  • Communicate to retailers and distributor gondola update dates, assortment files and planograms.

  • Work closely with internal and external Marketing team to build retailer side-by-side calendars to strategically schedule promotional activity to drive YOY growth, especially at times with high LY liabilities.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of business experience in sales, minimum of 5 years in international sales.

  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational/time management skills.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • A collaborator, both internally and externally.

  • Experience in managing international distributor and direct to retail model is required.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • PNL proficiency.

  • Experience leading a team of 3 people.

  • Agility and ability to work effectively with various time zones due to the global nature of the position.

  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret the data and turn it into actionable conclusions.

  • Proficient in the following systems: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in the luxury wholesale account management in the beauty or skincare industry is required.

  • Work location: US based remote. Candidates based in Los Angeles must be willing and able to meet in person when needed for staff meetings and collaboration.

     

    Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $160,000.00 - $185,000.00 yearly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible .
