Ring Container Technologies Injection Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitor data and drive World Class OEE standards. (Huskies & Nissei’s)

  • Drive cycle time improvements. (Huskies & Nissei’s)

  • Support Sidel changeovers as needed.

  • Support Sidel Processing changes.

  • Lead Husky and Nissei Processing.

  • Ensure PM’s are being completed to standards. (Huskies, Nissei’s, & Material room)

  • Monitor and reduce all scrap.

  • Develop and initiate training. (Huskies, Nissei’s, & Material room)

  • Review and maintain NWA Quality Analyst data. (Huskies & Nissei’s)

  • Promote and Initiate Innovative Ideas within the Injection department.

  • Responsible for customer ready production floor at all times.

  • Responsible for overall Injection and Material department planning.

  • Responsible for Change Over team/Material room review of Overtime.

  • Responsible for Change Over/Material room employee time, goals, attendance, and time off.

  • Hold Injection/Material room Department meetings monthly or as needed.

  • Support the PET Process Eng.

  • Monitor and Maintain Injection/Material room department Inventory.

  • Responsible for Injection/Material room department quality.

  • Responsible for Injection/material room department Safety.

  • Responsible for Injection/Material room department “Ring Culture”

  • Meet with Shift Supervisors daily or as needed.

  • Provide feedback to Maintenance Manager on Injection/Material room department OEE and Downtime.

  • Communicate Injection/Material room department information to Shift Supervisors.

  • Responsible for Injection/Material room department review during Staff weekly meeting.

  • Responsible for Injection/Material room department information/review to Production Manager & Plant Manager.

  • May be asked to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor.

Experience, Educational and Technical Qualifications

Our Injection Supervisor should possess strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities, a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business.

Our Injection Supervisor position requires a 2-4 year technical degree, but may substitute military experience. Injection Supervisor may be asked to perform all duties and responsibilities of an operator, line worker, maintenance mechanic or forklift driver. The Injection Supervisor must be well trained in computer software such as: LN, Access (plant written programs) and NWA Quality Analyst.

Must be proficient in the English language both written and oral.
