A client of ours in the manufacturing industry located in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Director of Customer Service to join their team. This position is responsible for the overall management of the inside sales and customer service departments, ensuring excellent customer service is provided to all customers. This role will plan, coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the department. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Establish positive professional relationships with customers to resolve complaints and order issues.

  • Oversee customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.

  • Resolve escalated service issues for customers.

  • Product line maintenance such as additions, deletions and price adjustments.

  • Manage customer forecasts and ensure on-time deliveries with appropriate lead times.

  • Monitor product life cycle of customer items.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with on-time, in-full deliveries to contribute to the Company's performance.

  • Compile and analyze product data, inventory levels and other metrics.

  • Create a successful team environment that encourages collaboration, reliability, and optimal performance.
