ROLE CAN BE BASED IN LONDON OR LUXEMBOURG

Amazon is looking for a Program Manager for the Global Logistics, Fulfillment Across Borders (FAB) team. FAB team is dedicated to building, managing and operating a global logistics network that enables B2C cross borders shipments from anywhere in the world and delivers to customer anywhere in the world, cost effectively. The team consists of two key functions - Carrier Management and Network Operations. In this role you will be part of the Network Operations vertical and own the Network Engineering component of our cross border supply chain consisting of FCs, Sort Centers, Customs Brokers, 3P Carriers, Delivery Stations etc.

This individual will identify and drive improvement opportunities to make customer deliveries faster and/or cheaper for key exports destination countries. They will do so by deep diving the end to end supply chain configuration, identify gaps/anomalies/opportunities to improve the supply chain setup and be responsible for executing those changes. The individual will also act as SME for new supply chain design and deployment activities, topology enhancements etc and work closely with other team members to shape the future of exports supply chain with a view of improving speed and cost. Individual will develop strong understanding of the global supply chain and associated systems and configurations. They will also be required to deep dive any network related defects/issues and identify resolution. They will also work closely with EU Configuration/Transport and other supply chain teams to drive change and deliver results on behalf of our customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Analyze data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and initiatives to improve speed/cost metrics

  • Work closely with the internal stakeholders to understand priorities, constraints and execute initiatives

  • Lead Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs), supporth monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), involving senior management from Fulfillment Across Borders and partner teams to discuss performance trends and strategic initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SQL preferred and desirable
