Ms. Raffaella Maloney assured me over the phone that "US Customers Entry Writer" is the same job as "Customs House Broker." I followed up with an email with the job order to bring up the discrepancy just in case, seeking a written affirmation that this is how she wants the job description to read, including asking whether Entry Writer's duties are inclusive of Customs House Broker. - TM 2/25/2025

Job Description from Job Order Form: "Entry Writer for Import Shipments into USA. The purpose of the US Customs Entry Writer is to prepare Customs Documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import of goods to the USA. Responsibilities: *Analyze and validate Import Documentation and data to ensure they are in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations prior to entry submission to U.S Customs and Partner Government Agencies (PGA). *Communicate documentation discrepancies to client and supervisor *Review rates, trace product movement, file entries with Customs; classification and valuation of merchandise *Document review and assessment of accuracy, verifying country of origin, IOR, terms of sale and value to ensure that compliance and federal regulation requirements are achieved *Assure accurate and timely submission of customs entries for clearance through US Customs. *The Entry Writer serves as an advocate and must possess good customer service skills."
