Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to lead a team of four apprentice electricians. The candidate will be responsible for running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls, installing EMT pipes (1-1.5 inches in diameter), and installing light fixtures. Ensuring precise and neat installation of new wiring and fixtures to maintain steady voltage is crucial. Additionally, you will install switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, appliances, and other elements as the project nears completion.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of four apprentice electricians.
Run pipe, pull wire, rough walls, and install EMT pipes (1-1.5 inches in diameter).
Install switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, appliances, and other elements as the project nears completion.
Ensure precise and neat installation of new wiring and fixtures to maintain steady voltage.
Essential Skills
Journeyman Electrician's License issued by the State of Michigan.
Experience with running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls with MC cables, and installing EMT pipes (1, 1.5 inches).
Commercial/Industrial electrical experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics.
Work Environment
This is a new construction project based in Taylor, MI, involving the installation and building of panels, running pipes, pulling wires, installing light fixtures, and roughing walls with MC cables in a 50,000 sq. foot entertainment complex. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with potential overtime during the week or occasional Saturdays, expecting 40-55 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Macomb, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
