Job Title: Low Voltage Installer

Job Description

Travel to client sites to perform testing, configuration, installation, and preventative maintenance on commercial and detention-grade locks, access control, intercommunications, and video surveillance systems. Service and troubleshoot low voltage and electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and work at client sites

• Perform testing, configuration, installation, and preventative maintenance

• Service and troubleshoot low voltage and electro-mechanical systems

• Climb ladders and lift objects over 50lbs

• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Use electronics, circuits, relays, and low voltage systems

• Operate personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications

• Configure and program surveillance and card access systems, PLCs, ladder logic programming, and HMI applications

• Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms

• Travel overnight to remote locations as needed

Essential Skills

• Mechanically inclined and organized

• Results-oriented with a track record of working efficiently

• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Ability to see and identify colors

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

• Proficiency in electronics, circuits, relays, and low voltage systems

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications

• Strong interest and aptitude in software configuration and programming

Work Environment

You will be working indoors on government, commercial, and industrial projects. Our family-first culture emphasizes teamwork and customer service. Typically, you will be part of a team of 2-6 crew members. The dress code is work casual, including jeans or khakis, company-provided work t-shirts, and composite toe boots or shoes. Standard working hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with an average of 5 hours of overtime weekly. Specific tools will be provided as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
