Airline Technical Representative

We are looking for an Airline Technical Representative to join our CAE Parc Airline Technical Services Department. Your primary responsibilities will involve upholding the airworthiness, reliability, and safety standards across our different projects. You will also work towards streamlining maintenance operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates. Your role will entail project assignments across our department, where you will be dedicated to delivering efficient and tailored solutions for each of our valued clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technical Representative during heavy Maintenance events (including aircraft transitions) at MRO facilities following-up the maintenance activities to ensure compliance with customer contractual and quality standards and, where necessary, report any deficiency and to take the relevant corrective actions.

  • To review the scheduled maintenance plan and to ensure appropriate communication with all relevant stakeholders in terms of defects, materials and extra works management.

  • Definition and execution of Physical Inspections and the subsequent management of discrepancy list items.

  • Leverage your aviation experience and industry network to contribute significantly to our team.

    Skills and Qualifications

  • Part 66 licensed engineer (or an aeronautical degree or national equivalent) with experience as an aircraft maintenance technical representative.

  • Previous experience on aircraft type B737 and/or B777 is an asset.

  • Good knowledge of the applicable EASA/FAA Regulatory Requirements.

  • English fluency is essential, both written and spoken.

  • Able to demonstrate accuracy related to the maintenance execution.

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to understand technical contractual language and derive the implications.

  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment.

  • To communicate/report clearly and effectively with all layers in organizations.

  • Ability to travel without restrictions.
