Our client, a world-leading provider of secure financial messaging services, is seeking an Atlassian Tool Specialist with Scripting to join their team in Manassas, Virginia. As an Atlassian Tool Specialist with Scripting, you will be part of the team supporting the administration, maintenance, and automation within the Atlassian suite, including Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Job Title: Atlassian Tool Specialist with Scripting

Location: Manassas, Virginia (onsite work required at least 3 days a week)

Pay Range: Based on experience

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and maintain business services and flows in the Atlassian Suite

• Create and maintain workflows

• Set up and troubleshoot automation rules, jobs, listeners, endpoints, etc.

• Provide support to customer teams through Jira requests, document and understand requirements, seek clarification, and follow through with agreed outcomes

• Automate, enhance, and troubleshoot services using Groovy (Script runner application plugin)

What's Needed?

• Atlassian administration (Jira, JSM, Confluence) - both for Data Center and Cloud

• Groovy scripting to automate service requests & business flows

• Bitbucket source code management and administration

• Redhat/Linux administration

• Basic understanding of running and troubleshooting applications within containers
