We are looking to add a Engineering Design Technician who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!

What You Will Be Doing:

The majority of your time will be assisting project managers and project engineers in design and construction phase activities for water treatment and waste water treatment facility projects.

• Assisting with design and construction phase activities on environnmental projects

• Performing basic design computations, preliminary layout and design, researching and preparing rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies

• Assisting with project plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates

• Construction observation project activities may include performing construction administration duties such as documenting work activities, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents and City staff.

What We Are Looking For:

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution (We will consider May 2024 graduates)

• Minimum of one internship in infrastructure design and/or construction observation preferred

• Must have academic experience or on the job experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Must possess a valid drivers license and your own transportation. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel.
