Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to start as a Machine Operator with a clear path to grow into a Die Cutter Operator role. Ideal candidates will be those who exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in the use of hand tools. Prior experience in machine operation is essential, and experience in die cutting is highly desirable. The role involves being responsible for the setup and operation of the die-cutting press, making adjustments as needed to meet safety and productivity standards. You will also examine job orders to determine specifics like quantity, stock specifications, and special instructions, as well as inspect cutting dies and undertake minor repairs. Additionally, accurate input of information into the computer for inventory tracking and waste management is required.

Hard Skills

Job Type

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marietta, Georgia.

Work Environment

The role is based in an 80-person paper/paper board producing plant. The environment is very clean and organized. Standard safety protocols include wearing hair/beard nets, ear plugs, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes. The plant is climate controlled to ensure a comfortable working atmosphere.
