Job Description

Teach a variety of developmental and general education mathematics courses as well as mathematics courses for education majors. Manage the mathematics tutoring center on campus including recruiting student workers, training them, and scheduling their hours in the tutoring center as well as working a number of hours in the tutoring center each week.

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in mathematics or mathematics education or an EdD together with a master’s in mathematics

• Experience teaching mathematics courses for elementary and secondary education majors

• Experience teaching general education mathematics courses

• Experience running a mathematics tutoring center

Preferred Qualification

• Experience teaching and developing curriculum for teaching developmental mathematics courses
