What You'll Do

• Perform a variety of field and in-house transformer services on oil-filled and dry-type transformers.
• Carry out electrical testing such as Doble, Winding Resistance, TTR, and Insulation Resistance.
• Execute specialized activities, including untanking/tanking, re-gasketing, and coil assembly, with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all involved.
• Provide technical support to customers and field/shop personnel as needed.
• Continuously evaluate operational procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Support special projects and tasks as assigned, expanding your responsibilities and expertise.

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Proven experience with transformer repair and field service, including electrical testing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with specialized transformer services like oil processing and core assembly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
