We are recruiting for the role of a General Accounting Supervisor. This role operates within the education sector, specifically in university business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various accounting operations, improving financial processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of Banner software for all accounting activities

• Supervise the grant management process and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements

• Handle the accounting aspects of tuition collection and refund processes

• Collaborate with different departments within the university to develop and maintain annual budgets

• Manage the reimbursement process for university expenses in accordance with institutional policies

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintenance of the general ledger structure

• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles

• Perform other duties as assigned, in line with the role's requirements

This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with skills in Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Banner, Budget Management, Development Methodology, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions is crucial

• Knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed

• Must have experience with Billing Functions

• Proficiency in Banner is preferred

• Budget Management skills are essential

• Familiarity with Development Methodology is required

• Experience with General Ledger is necessary

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting is crucial
