SRS Distribution Inc. Regulatory Compliance Specialist in McKinney, Texas

Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will partner with the Regulatory Compliance Managers to submit and process licenses, permits, Sara Title II, CA CERS and other regulatory reporting. This role will be a strategic partner by working closely with branch operational staff to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. This role will be based out of our McKinney, TX Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Submit funds and applications for licensing, permits and other regulatory documents

  • Collect information for reports (product tonnage, sales, Sara Title II, CA CERS and other regulatory reporting)

  • Act as liaison between the Compliance Managers, Accounts Payable and Purchasing

  • Ensure the timely filing of paperwork and other business related documents

  • Conduct environmental and other regulatory reporting as assigned for specific types of reports and certain facility locations

  • Work with the purchasing department to collect SDSs for new products

  • Provide monthly reporting on permit applications status

  • Perform other regulatory activities based on business needs

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and diverse organization

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products especially Excel

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Office experience working independently with minimal guidance a plus
