Office of the Director of National Intelligence IC Performance Data Analyst in McLean, Virginia

Summary The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, evaluate, and determine relevance of source material, evaluate procedures, analyze data, and develop innovative proposals for decision by ODNI senior leadership. Plan and conduct statistical, operations research, econometric, mathematical, or geospatial modeling support to the analytical work of a component, the ODNI, IC, and other United States Government (USG) agencies; interpret and effectively communicate the results of these analyses in terms that can be understood by technical and non-technical clients and staff. Analyze, evaluate, and assess appropriate quantitative and qualitative data (using statistical software, computer models, geospatial models, or software languages) to contribute to or produce analytic reports or actionable intelligence in response to customer requirements. Conduct in-depth, detailed analysis of IC data sources for veracity, internal consistency, and utility in answering customer and stakeholder questions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a current permanent ODNI employee. OR Must be a current permanent Federal employee Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. Must be currently at the grade level of the detail. No Temporary Promotion Opportunity The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Ability/demonstrated ability to apply analytic, quantitative, and qualitative techniques to analyze, evaluate, and recommend appropriate alternatives to complex issues. Extensive knowledge of the IC and its components, missions, and interrelationships, including a demonstrated ability to lead broad-based teams regarding key IC issues. Extensive experience developing data visualization tools to meet customer needs. Extensive experience cleaning, normalizing, and otherwise enhancing the fidelity of data. Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative (i.e. tell story with data). Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by mission specialty area. Salary Determination: A current Federal Government employee, selected for a detail, will be assigned to the position at their current grade and salary.
