The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an energetic and passionate HR Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will be responsible for overseeing HR administrative functions and ensuring the seamless execution of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3 days per week, part-time, on-site role.

  • Oversee day-to-day HR administrative functions, including managing employee records and onboarding processes.

  • Provide support to internal ladies and gentlemen by addressing HR inquiries.

  • Support recruitment efforts by conducting phone screening, scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates.

  • Organize and coordinate training programs to promote professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, maintaining accurate employee records.

  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation for onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.

  • Assist in planning and executing HR-related events such as employee recognition programs.

  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to address HR-related needs and promote a positive work environment.

About You:

  • Full working rights required.

  • Certificate/Diploma in Human Resources (desirable).

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR administration or related role.

  • Preferred availability on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (negotiable).

  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS or Payroll System.

  • Demonstrates a keen eye for accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skill, ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.

  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel role is highly regarded.
